NATALIE IS LIVE AT THE SCENE WITH MORE. Reporter: GOOD MORNING. THE NYPD HAVE JUST OPENED UP LIBERTY AVENUE, BUT THAT SMASHED UP CAR STILL SITTING HERE ON THE STREET. POLICE NOW TELLING US THAT THE WOMAN DRIVING THE VEHICLE WAS A 25-YEAR-OLD WOMAN. SHE IS NOW IN CRITICAL CONDITION . THERE WERE TWO PASSENGERS WITH HER INSIDE. A 41-YEAR-OLD MAN AND A 22-YEAR-OLD WOMAN. THEY BOTH SUFFERED NON-LIFE- THREATENING INJURIES. IT WAS AROUND 2:30 THIS MORNING WHEN THAT CAR SMASHED INTO A BUILDING. THAT APPEARS TO BE A FURNITURE STORE NEAR 122nd STREET. WHEN EMERGENCY RESPONDERS ARRIVED THEY FOUND THOSE THREE PEOPLE TRAPPED INSIDE. FIREFIGHTERS WERE HERE WORKING TO PULL THEM OUT. THEY WERE ALL TAKEN TO JAMAICA HOSPITAL. WE SPOKE TO A WITNESS WHO WAS WORKING ACROSS THE STREET WHO SAYS HE HEARD A LOUD NOISE AND RAN OUTSIDE TO TRY TO HELP. WE HEARD A BANG AND CAME OUTSIDE AND SAW THE CAR ACROSS THE STREET. WE TRIED TO GET THEM OUT, BUT WE COULDN’T. WE CALL THE COPS AND THEY CAME AND TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING ELSE. Reporter: POLICE HAVE NOT SAID WHETHER OR NOT ALCOHOL OR SPEED WERE A FACTOR. INVESTIGATORS ARE STILL HERE TRYING TO DETERMINE WHAT CAUSED THAT CAR TO GO OUT OF CONTROL.
